The Royal Elephant

 

This elephant art( broken glass), reminds me of Goddess Chamundeeswari of Mysore. The Goddess seated on the Royal Elephant  gives darshan to Her devotees during Dasara festival. It is a  grand ten day festival in Mysore. Year after year this festival is celeberated  in Mysore in a grand manner.

Also it reminds me of the age old  kids Tamil rhyme. Here it is.....
